BEAWaRe riduce le emissioni e i costi della logistica della raccolta rifiuti con l’IoT. Grazie ad algoritmi di Machine Learning, la nostra Dashboard analizza tutti i dati sulla produzione rifiuti ottenuti dai nostri sensori IoT e fornisce a Comuni e Aziende dei rifiuti le metriche necessarie per ottimizzare i percorsi di raccolta sulle reali necessità rilevate, migliorare l’efficienza del servizio e ridurre le emissioni dovute ai camion di raccolta. La nostra App per i cittadini supporta i Sindaci con iniziative di sensibilizzazione e diffonde sostenibilità ed economia circolare. L’utente accede a dritte green per migliorare la raccolta differenziata ed essere più sostenibile. Infine, forniamo un tool efficace per la gestione della Tariffa Puntuale, che premia i cittadini che producono meno rifiuti con uno sconto sulle tasse.

In qualità di Società Benefit, vogliamo contribuire agli SDGs dell’ONU diffondendo conoscenza e abilità sulla sostenibilità (SDG 4.7), rendendo la raccolta rifiuti smart e sostenibile (SDG 9.4), riducendo l’impatto pro- capite nelle città, con focus sulla gestione dei rifiuti (SDG 11.6), diminuendo la produzione dei rifiuti grazie alla sensibilizzazione (SDG 12.5) e tagliando le emissioni dovute ai rifiuti grazie a pratiche di sostenibilità e logistica (SDG 13.3). Inoltre rendiamo la gestione dei rifiuti inclusiva, creando una reale e consapevole collaborazione fra cittadini, amministrazioni e gestori dei rifiuti e dando ai dati un nuovo e chiaro significato accessibile a chiunque.

Abbiamo partecipato a tre programmi di incubazione nel 2021 (Enel Sustainability Startup Program, ClimateLaunchpad 2021, Startup Builder), vincendo tre premi: Public Choice Award e miglior startup per Tacoma e Techbricks. Attualmente partecipiamo alla Pre-accelerazione di B4i e ad AWS Startup Loft Accelerator. Abbiamo anche vinto il percorso di Accelerazione FoundHER di Plug and Play come miglior startup a conduzione femminile.

BEAWaRe aims to reduce emissions and logistics costs of waste collection through IoT networks. Thanks to Machine Learning algorithms, our Dashboard analyses all data on waste production from our IoT sensors and provides Municipalities and Waste Management Companies with all the metrics necessary to optimize routes of collection based on real needs, improve the service efficiency, and reduce trucks emissions. Our APP for citizens supports Mayors with awareness initiatives and spreads knowledge about sustainability and circular economy. People get access to green tips to be more responsible and efficient in separate collection. Finally, we give an effective tool to apply the Pay As You tariff, prizing those citizens who produce less wastes with a discount on taxes.

As Società Benefit, we aim to contribute to UN SDGs by: spreading knowledge and skills about sustainability (SDG 4.7), making the waste collection system smart and sustainable (SDG 9.4), reducing per capita impact in cities, with attention to waste management (SDG 11.6), substantially decreasing waste generation through culture spreading (SDG 12.5), and lowering emissions due to waste thanks to knowledge and skills about sustainability (SDG 13.3). We also want to make it inclusive, creating collaboration between people, governments and companies for waste and emissions reduction, giving waste data a new and clear meaning for everyone.

We joined three incubation programs in 2021 (Enel Sustainability Startup Program, ClimateLaunchpad 2021, and Startup Builder), winning three prizes as Public Choice Award and as best startup with Tacoma and Techbricks. We are currently attending the B4i Pre-acceleration program and AWS Startup Loft Accelerator. We also won as best female-led startup of the year, being selected for the FoundHER Acceleration program by Plug and Play.

Finally, we have a prototype of our IoT sensors, currently testing in San Vito Romano, and we are launching our PAYT management software.
