Milan, 15 January 2018 – We are back with the eight edition of the Lifebility Award, a national competition found in 2009 under will of the LIONS International Club, with the aim of rewarding projects and innovative ideas from young people  with sustainable social proposals. We look for ideas having as purpuse the improvement, simplification and accessibility of public and private services in the community. This is possible thanks to the sponsorship of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, in collaboration with Prospera and the patronage of the Lombardy Region, the National Research Council and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. The national competition has been a great success in previous editions, with 500 projects from all over the Italian territory, more than 90 finalists trained and supervised by Associatione Prospera’s tutor on Business Plan and 50 winners

Proposals will be accepted both individual and team made. The winners will receive a book of vouchers for assistance to startup business, a paid internship  at one of the sponsors of the initiative or a cash prize worth EUR 10.000, before taxes and fees.

Prizes will be awarded unquestionably by the Selection Committee, formed by the Scientific Committee and representatives of companies and organizations that sponsored the project, as well as three representatives Lions. The commission is going to select 12 finalists. Each of them will win a major prize : the course and tutoring taught by Prospera, in whihc they will be told how to rework their ideas in a Business Plan version.

After about a month of tutoring the Selection Committee will meet again to asseign the final award prizes to the winner , to validate the Social Plus defined by voters in the network. The residues prizes not awarded to the winners (especially stage) will be then distributed. For this reason, we invite you to participate and still send your CV, because the stage may be assigned outside of the official winners.

There are many institutions and companies that wanted to join this initiative, which aims, as well as to put bright young people within their workforce, to spread the culture of solidarity among them. We think that is very important to urge young people to commit themselves in the social, thanks to its ability to develop innovative ideas and sustainable. The fifth edition of Lifebility Award has already confirmed the collaboration of Milan Chamber of Commerce, Foundation Bracco and Bracco Research Centre, Bachelor, GERI HDP, Polihub. 

And many also partners are giving a significant contribution to the project, including ACTL ATM STAGE, ALMALAUREA, Italian Association Bioingegeneria, Ideatre60 and still BACHELOR to spread; then Press Club Milano, Punto Enel and Studio Esse for organizing events; SnapKode for the development and management of the site.
