L’idea nasce durante un progetto universitario nel quale mi venne chiesto di pensare ad un servizio innovativo, che fosse in linea con la situazione sociale che stiamo attualmente vivendo. Mosso da un forte spirito assistenzialista nei confronti delle categorie fragili ho deciso di unire a questa passione quella per la tecnologia e di ideare un qualcosa di utile.

L’idea consiste nel creare un’applicazione grazie alla quale si possano mettere in contatto persone anziane o con lievi disabilità e giovani volontari. Il contatto non sarà diretto, per evitare di far ritrovare in casa un anziano e un malintenzionato. Tra i due attori sopra citati ci saranno le RSA (nel caso di persone anziane) o i CDD (nel caso di persone con lieve disabilità). Sull’applicazione, che sarà prettamente utilizzata dai giovani volontari, ci sarà una sezione di annunci dove i ragazzi potranno scegliere la persona più vicina alla quale fare “compagnia”.

Proprio questa sarà la finalità del progetto, creare un qualcosa che faccia mettere in contatto persone sole, che ricevono le migliori cure ma che vorrebbero solo un po’ di affetto, e giovani volontari che mossi dal loro spirito personale potranno aiutare una persona semplicemente scambiando due chiacchiere.

La proposta potrebbe avere un forte impatto sociale visto che comunque porge la mano a quelli che sono gli anziani, forse la categoria lasciata più sola durante la pandemia ma anche in modo indiretto a quelli che sono i giovani facendogli scoprire l’amore per il prossimo e perché no apprendendo da quelle che potrebbero essere le storie raccontate dagli anziani.

In merito al progetto attualmente sono state svolte le primissime attività, come un breve pitch in cui sono state previste le attività embrionali da svolgere e una breve intervista a persone anziane che sono state entusiaste dell’idea.

The idea was born during a university project in which I was asked to think about an innovative service, that was in line with the social situation we are currently experiencing. I decided to combine the passion for the technology and for the social issues to create something useful.

The idea is to create an application that can connect elderly people or people with minor disabilities and young volunteers. The contact will not be direct, to avoid finding in the house an old man and an attacker. The above two actors will include SAR (in the case of older people) or DCD (in the case of people with mild disabilities). On the application, which will be strictly used by young volunteers, there will be a section of announcements where teens and so on can choose the person nearest to whom to make “company”.

This will be the aim of the project, to create something that brings together lonely people, who receive the best care but who only want a little ‘affection, and young volunteers who moved by their personal spirit can help a person simply by exchanging a chat.

The proposal could have a strong social impact as it still extends its hand to the elderly, perhaps the category left alone during the pandemic but also indirectly to those who are young making them discover the love for the other and why not learning from what could be the stories told during discussions with the elderly.

Regarding the project, the very first activities have been carried out, such as a short pitch in which the embryonic activities to be carried out and a short interview with elderly people who were enthusiastic about the idea.
