SHaDy è un sistema di Sharing delivery con lo scopo di smaltire il traffico di merci da e per i principali centri urbani in modo eco-friendly. Verso le grandi città (come Roma e Milano) ogni giorno il flusso di persone e cose congestiona le vie urbane. SHaDy vuole dare il proprio contributo alla riduzione del traffico cittadino intervenendo sulle consegne di “cose” appoggiandosi a canali già esistenti. Ad esempio: permettere ai bus di linea per il trasporto di persone di mettere a disposizione uno spazio per stivare pacchi oppure dare la possibilità agli utenti BlablaCar di portare a destinazione pacchi, documenti o altre piccole cose. Una volta a destinazione, le delivery potranno:

• essere ritirate ai punti di arrivo dei “corrieri”;
• essere consegnate a domicilio da SHaDy tramite e-vehicle (e-bike o e–car).

 

ShaddY is a “Sharing Delivery” system with the purpose to reduce delivery traffic in the main urban centres. Every day, a huge “flow” of people and stuffs is directed from the neighbour smaller cities/villages to the main big cities (as Rome and Milan) affecting negatively the traffic in the city centre. Shaddy’s goal is to help the reduction of traffic congestion making the parcels/stuffs deliveries system more efficient using channels already available for other purpose. For example: giving the possibility to buses to hosts a part of their space available for packages and other stuffs; give the possibility to BlablaCar users, when they have free space in their vehicle, to transport documents or parcels to the city centre. Once arrived to destination, the deliveries can be: picked-up at destination; home-delivered by the Shaddy delivery e-network vehicles (e-bike o e–car). That will mean: less vehicle on the road without the necessity to reduce the services!
