How many times did you find your car blocked by another in a double row and you look surroundings without knowing how to act? Or are you unable to leave the garage for another driver’s risky parking? In this case, the only thing to do is to honk the horn, look for the car owner or quietly wait. In any case, time is wasted and often even patience. Cities are increasingly full of cars and wrong behaviors are increasingly and more and more overbearing. The interventions of the institutions are contraventions that serve more as a deterrent, but do not have the same impact on all drivers. Spark is as simple as it is brilliant. It is a platform, which can be defined as social, in which you can quickly contact the owner of a parked car that creates a problem with the road system, and make it move easily. I happened to have this kind of problem. Leave the car in a double row, maybe even for a moment, and many times created problems for others. Leaving a ticket on the windshield was not very appropriate, due to the inefficiency and the exposure of private data to the public. This is how Spark was born. Spark is an application that allows you to track down the owner of a car that is obstructing traffic, putting the two parts in communication. Basically the person who is hindered, insert the license plate of the vehicle into the app, and it will send an urgent notification to the owner of the car that will have a time limit to come to move it. After which the hindered person can choose to act differently. Further hypothetical implementations can be creation of QRcode, chat between the two interested parties, geolocation …
The usefulness of this idea is that of inducing people to solve, in a practical way but above all civil, small everyday problems typical of motorists, trying to reduce the frictions in an already stressful context such as those of traffic. The beneficiaries would all be drivers and the community. Anyone participating in the program can take advantage of this platform that is generally designed for urban use, where often you are more exposed to space problems for the cars. The users’ need is to be able to communicate with other motorists, inciting them to correct wrong behavior that would be harmful to traffic and to the whole community. The skills necessary for the development of the idea are certainly a good vision of the project; a good management capacity of the product that can be implemented in various ways becouse it’s very multifaceted. Then we need a good IT competence, a developer who verticalizes the platform. Finally, good marketing is needed to get start the platform. The team is now only trained by the designer of the project that would carry out the coordination and management of the project.
